MT. PROSPECT, IL – SKIL power tools has been around since 1924 and today they have over 50 tools that are targeted at the DYI market and the semi professional.  Today Skil announced a photo contest for woodworkers to display their craftsmanship in the “What Can Your SKIL Build” contest. Starting today and running through June 22 Skil owners can submit photos of their projects through Skil’s facebook page at www.facebook.com/skil, to enter the contest.  At stake is a $1,500 gift card and SKIL Tools worth up to $500.

According to Rick Bauer at SKIL “SKIL has more than 50 tools, including drills, saws, sanders and jigsaws, to help get any job done.”  So for the next month SKIL owners will compete for the prizes while showcasing their work. The top entries will be selected by experts at SKIL and then posted on Facebook for fans to get their vote in. Third place gets a $500 prize pack of SKIL tools and a $500 gift card, Second place gets the same prize pack but the gift card is upgraded to $1,000 and First place gets the prize pack and $1,500 gift card.
